Our Savoy sausages are made according to a traditional recipe, creating a perfect combination of a regional and a bold sausage!

Certified French Pork meat, a touch of pepper, a hint of salt, a little nutmeg and also garlic are combined to perfect the unique flavour of this speciality. We offer a complete range to suit all tastes, including Beaufort, hazelnut and beechwood smoked sausages!

WHAT IS A DIOT ?

Savoie diots are pork sausages to cook, a specialty from Savoie made nearby the French ski slopes. Seasoned with a fine mix of spices, our diots are generously garnished ! Made in our workshops in the heart of the Alps.

These cooking sausages are ideal for all seasons : traditionally cooked with a mix of water, French white wine and onions for a typical winter meal, or also delicious grilled on a barbecue during summer. Tasty, they can be eaten in a burger, in a gratin or sliced in a quiche or even cold to garnish your salads.

WHAT IS THE ADVANTAGE OF A DIOT COMPARED TO A FRESH SAUSAGE ?

The advantage of chilled diots over fresh sausages is the extended shelf life. Moreover, there

is a further advantage which is the possibility to freeze them (stored at -18 °C) while still avoiding product degradation, allowing the selling either frozen or defrosted with a 40 days shelf life.A diot is a half-dried sausage, meaning there is a short pasteurization or precooking

process before the vacuum-packing.

Savoy ham is one of the most popular hams in France! Produced according to a traditional recipe, our Savoy hams follow and respect precise specifications, guaranteeing quality in both taste and appearance!

The process specific to this speciality, gives it a unique taste. For example, salting must be exclusively done by hand. After salting, the meat is air-dried to give it a unique texture and flavour.

Thanks to its geography, Savoy has specific characteristics allowing it to produce high-quality hams: a lower temperature than in the plains, and breezes that allow an optimal air-drying.
